Teaching and Workshops
Steph loves the harp, and wants to pass this passion on to you. She believes that anyone can learn an instrument, and constantly looks for new ways to make that journey enjoyable and accessible.
For adults wanting to learn an instrument and gain a new social experience she recommends group classes: fun, friendly and supportive, with the added bonus of playing in a group early on!
One to one lessons are ideal for adults wanting to learn at their own pace. Individual lessons also give you the opportunity to explore and focus on what you really want to learn, be it a solid grounding in harp technique or perhaps a particular repertoire. Individual pupils can also have the opportunity to play with the group ensembles at informal concerts.

Steph also enjoys teaching teenagers and children (from age 8), incorporating technique with games and fun to get their ears and fingers working with the music! ABRSM exams are available, including the important supporting subjects of theory, aural and sightreading. Steph also teaches these subjects separately.
Steph teachs in Oxford and Chorleywood (jnc 18 on the M25, also on the Metropolitan Line).
